For protection against dust, water and mechanical strain

Our moulding process operates at relatively low pressures and temperatures.
This means that sensitive, even delicate components can be overmoulded without any risk.
For protection, strain relief and watertightness. The cost for aluminium tooling is low, so that small series (3.000 pieces per year) can be processed efficiently.
The raw material is of high quality, does not contain noxious substances, is environment-friendly and complies to UL 94 V0. The bonding strength on PVC is excellent.
Applications are numerous: connectors, printed circuit boards, switches, relays, trafos, bobbins, etc.

Watertight overmoulding of a switch

Switches to control the movement of loading ramps of trucks are overmoulded for protection and watertightness according to IP 67 (watertight during 30 minutes / 1 m under water). The cable is perfectly relieved from strain and the moulded product bears the logo of our client.

Watertight overmoulding of connectors

The wiring of diesel engines for yachts and boats has to be watertight by definition. We make use of a standard sealed automotive connector, which we overmould for additional protection against water, moisture and strain.

Watertight overmoulding of a printed circuit board

A small SMT pcb amplifies the signals of a computer/GPS system in a truck to transmit via GSM important information to the home base. Printed circuit board and cable outlets are perfectly overmoulded, leaving the indication LED in the middle of the pcb completely clear.
